27 Week Appointment

I went to the Doctor yesterday and so far everything looks great! I met with a different doc this time, and I really liked him. At my clinic, whoever is on call when you go into labor will be who delivers you. So, it was nice to get to know another doc in case he is the one on call. I also had to take the glucose test for diabetes, so hopefully that doesn't come back positive. I can't believe how fast time is flying by and that we only have 12 more weeks left!
We are also looking forward to some fun times in the next couple of weeks...our baby shower and my 10 year High School Reunion!

Weekend Trip

Carter and I decided to get in a weekend trip to Chapel Hill/Durham this past weekend. We're trying to get in as many spur of the moment trips before Ellie gets here because we know we won't be able to do that as much. It's fun to see new places and get to know our new state while we are here. Here are some random pics from the weekend...as you can tell we are getting to be really boring and old!


Carter was trying to relive his SAE days...he even gave out the handshake to a young brother at Duke!

Funky Monkey

Here is my first attempt at sewing! I decided to make a vintage sock monkey and found a pattern online to follow. Instead of using the traditional socks, I decided to use some funkier girls knee socks. It was fun to make but took a lot more time than I expected. My next project might be some pillows?

Trick or Treat!

I couldn't resist the dog costumes at Target so we had to go ahead and get one before they sell out! As you can tell, Harper hates wearing it and thinks that she is being punished. Since Ellie won't be here this year, Harper will have to take her place. Maybe next year we will have 2 bumble bees!
Everything here is still going good with us. We had a nice Labor Day weekend hanging out with some friends and enjoying some pool time.
