For Papa

Papa got Ellie this shirt for Valentine's Day (that he picked out all by himself) and I thought she better wear it before it gets too small! Check out the belly on this girl!
In the last picture, Ellie is practicing her tummy time. (She likes it best when I prop her up on the boppy pillow.)

Hanging Around

We've just been stuck inside these last few days because of all the rainy weather. Not much new to report...Ellie just keeps getting bigger every day! She will be 4 months old next week, and I cannot believe how fast time goes by!

Big Girl Toy!

We put together the Baby Einstein Play Center the other night, and I think Ellie is really going to like it! She is growing way to fast (but her feet barely touch the bottom)!

New Mobile

We hung the mobile that Grandma Re got Ellie, and she loves it! Also, she is wearing a cute bichon outfit that one of my mom's friends gave her. Growing up, we always had a bichon (and still do) so this outfit is really appropriate!
The grandparents left today and Ellie was really sad to see them leave. We had a fun time traveling Georgia and visiting with Aunt Bliss. I don't have any pictures from the trip but if you ever have the chance to go to St. Simons, Georgia, you must go! It was so neat, and we definitely want to go back sometime!

Cupcakes!

Since it is a gloomy cold day here, we decided to make some cupcakes! Ellie was a big help!

Getting Bigger!

I took out the newborn inserts in the car seat this week. It kind of made me sad because it means Ellie is getting bigger! She seemed to be happy about it though and now has a lot more room in her seat. The last two pics are from today and she looks so different in them. She is full of smiles, but as soon as she sees the camera she becomes very serious.
Grandma Re and Papa James are coming this weekend, and we are very excited about it!

3 Months Old!

Ellie turned 3 months old this weekend! We had all these fun things planned for Saturday, but I ended up being sick so we had to stay in. Today we went to the park for a little while, and then I took some pics of Ellie outside. I caught a picture of her sucking her thumb! She hasn't really done this before, but she has started to be more interested in her hands.

Here are some things she's doing at 3 months:
-smiles and coos when you make eye contact
-will push her head up while on her tummy
-can roll from front to back while inclined on a pillow
-loves holding her lovie blankies
-sleeps from 9:30/10:00-8:00
-eats 4/5 ounces every 3.5/4 hours

He Tried!

Ok, so this is evidence that Carter doesn't change diapers much...Last night when I put on Ellie's pajamas, I noticed that she had on a tiny newborn diaper! Carter changed her and had put a newborn diaper on her. It was hilarious, and she looked like she had on a speedo!!

Paci Face and Sleeping!

It cracks me up when Ellie gets a huge paci ring around her face! She loves her pacifiers so much (as you can tell)! Also, she has been sleeping a full 8 hours at night! This is so big for us, and it is so wonderful to get a full night's rest. When I go in her room in the morning, she is so happy and full of smiles and then does the "happy dance"! The last two pics are from this morning.

Lazy Weekend

It has been a rainy mess here all weekend, so we haven't gotten out much! We've been pretty lazy just resting and watching movies. Sometimes I love weekends like this though to spend time with the two people I love most!
Ellie is really into her lovies these days! We practiced some tummy time and then I caught her watching t.v. At least she was watching the history channel! Just like her Daddy :)
