Fun Week!

This week we celebrated Carter's 32nd Birthday, and Grandma Re came to visit! And on Friday, we got to have a girl's lunch with my good friend Stacey who was in town visiting a friend. It is always so great to catch up with an old friend!
Carter and I also got to have a date night on Saturday, and we ate at a really good restaurant downtown. (We always have to take advantage of having a good babysitter in town :)
Oh, and Ellie sat in a restaurant high-chair for the first time this weekend! She loved it, and thought she was such a BIG GIRL!

Two Teeth!

I was so surprised to find two little bottom teeth cutting through! Ellie has had a rough couple of nights and now I know why...

Father's Day

We had a good Father's Day weekend! Ellie gave her daddy a new X-Box game and a cute picture collage to put on his desk. Carter is such a good daddy, and Ellie is crazy about him! She loves to stare at him and smile whenever she sees him. We are so thankful for all the wonderful dad's in our life!
Also, she is trying really hard to crawl! She pushes up on all 4's and lunges forward...won't be long!

I wanted to get some cute pics of Ellie in this dress that Re made for her, but she didn't want to participate and the dress is already too small! Oops! We should have worn it earlier :) She also likes to do this thing now where she sucks in her bottom lip...guess it feels good on her gums?

Party Girl!

Ellie got all dressed up and went to her friend Addie's Birthday party yesterday. She had a really good time and loved watching all the cute kiddos run around! Here are a few pics we took before we went to the party. (Thanks Mrs. Joyce for the precious dress!)

Stuck!

Ellie has gotten stuck under the dining room chairs a few times already, and the other day I looked over and she was trying to pull down the curtains! What are we going to do with her!?

6 Months!

Ellie turned 6 months old yesterday, and today we had her doctor's appointment. She is right on track with everything and is growing so fast!

Things she's doing:
-rollling, rolling, rolling! (last week it just clicked to her that she could keep on going and now she can roll across the room!)
-has stared to push up on all 4's
-can sit for a few seconds at a time before toppling over
-"talking" and babbling all the time
-can blow raspberries
-loves to play with her toys and grab anything
-likes most veggies but will not eat any fruits
-still takes 5 (6-7oz) bottles a day and eats cereal for lunch and a veggie for dinner (her doc said we need to take away some formula and add in stage 2 veggie/meat combos twice a day...yuck :)
-likes to sleep on her belly even though she's not supposed to
-still drooling and putting her hands in her mouth constantly (maybe some teeth soon?)

Dining Room = Playroom

We used to have a nice dining room, but now it has turned into a playroom for Ellie! I also use the dining room table (that is now pushed against the back wall) for my personal home office. Funny how things change ;)
