Mayes had a great first birthday party! We decided on a bug theme since we have always called him, "Buggy!" (Not really sure why we started calling him that but it stuck and sis used to think that was his name!) So we had bug cookies, bug cupcakes, bug decor and the kids searched for plastic bugs in the yard to put in their bug cages. Also, we wanted to do something to honor our dear friend Miller's life, so we decided to have the guests bring donations in lieu of gifts that went to Circle of Life Hospice in building the Miller McNeil Woodruff butterfly garden. We were so happy to do this for our friend and it turned out great! It was a great party with friends and family and we are so blessed to have this little guy in our lives!
