Re is Crafty!

Grandma Re came to see us this week, and we've had lots of fun! (Carter was out of town for work so we loved having the company :) She even made Ellie some super cute summer dresses!
Ellie is still growing so much and getting so big! She and Harper have become really good friends too. They have never really paid much attention to each other until lately and they seem to get along great.
Ellie has discovered her feet, and we've still been practicing rolling. She gets so close but is so mad the whole time we try it, and she always ends up in tears. She would much rather practice standing or sitting up! Oh well, we may just skip the rolling step!

Cereal

We started rice cereal this week, and Ellie seems to like it! The first few attempts didn't go so well, but she has caught on and can finish most of the bowl. I thought she would like it because she loves to eat!

Having fun at Re and Papa's house!

Here are some pics from our trip to AR. Ellie had such a good time, and she even got to stand on Papa's harley. He also had to get her a "Jumping Jenny!" She didn't quite know what to think of it yet, but I'm sure she will love it soon.

2 Years!

Yesterday was our two year wedding anniversary, and we celebrated by having a family picnic in the park. It was such a nice day, and I'm so glad I got to spend it with Carter and Ellie! I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful hubby to spend my life with!

Special Day!

Today, on Easter Sunday, we had Ellie baptised in the church that I grew up in. She did so well, and we were all so proud of her! She looked so pretty in her white gown, and I just wish we had more pictures (my camera died during the service)! Then afterwards, we came to my parents house and had the best Easter brunch. Ellie changed into her adorable Easter dress that my mom made for her. She had the best day, and we are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

4 Months Old!

I can't believe our baby girl is already 4 months old! Today we had her doctor's appointment and everything checked out good. She has grown so much in the last 2 months!

We get to start her on rice cereal in the next week or so and if that goes well, she can start on stage 1 foods(fruits/veggies) at 5 months.

Things she's doing:
-so close to rolling over...she can push her arms up strong and move her head from side to side.
-has started to reach her hand out and touch more.
-loves silking her lovies and blankies.
-drools all the time...her front teeth may just push through in a month or so.
-starting to put things in her mouth.
-laughs and coo's when we talk to her.

Watching t.v.

Oh no...she has discovered the t.v. big time! I started letting her watch Baby Einstein in the mornings while I get ready and she loves it! But now any time the t.v. is on, she turns her head and is glued to it. Guess we will have to find some more stimulating activities for her to do...I can't let her little brain turn to mush ;)

Easter Bunny!

Today we met up with Ellie's buddy Paige to see the Easter Bunny!! It was pretty cute, but Ellie wasn't wanting to give out any smiles today. Good thing that she is still small enough not to realize that the bunny was a little scary ;)
