Playing in Momma's Jewelry Box!

This is what I found the other morning while I had been in the other room for a bit...Ellie had found my good jewelry box and put on all my bracelets! Such a little girly girl, and she just couldn't understand why I wouldn't let her wear them out of the house :)

Date with Cole

Ellie got to take Cole to Liza's Birthday party! I tried to snap a few pics before we left but she wouldn't participate...at least Cole would smile for the camera ;) The are so cute together!

Picnic in the Park

These pics are old but I just got around to uploading them off of my camera. We went to Russellville for Labor Day weekend and took Ellie for a picnic down at the lake. They have a neat aquarium inside the visitor's center and she had fun looking at the turtles and fish. She even got to pick out a prize from the gift shop. She chose an ugly rat but we got her to go with a cuter raccoon!

MDO and 21 Months!

Ellie turned 21 months last Tuesday and started Fall MDO on Wednesday. She had a great day and loves her new class! I think it will be a nice break for her and mommy :) She has been so much fun lately...she repeats everything now and is talking a lot more. Her favorite word of the week is BUBBLES! She loves them and says bubbles over and over all day....and I made the mistake of getting some Dora bubble bath, so now she never wants to get out of the bath! Funny girl :)

Jump Zone!

We met our friends, Jess and Paige, at the Jump Zone last Friday for a playdate. The girls had fun trying out all the bounce houses and liked the toddler area the best. We will have to go back for sure!

18 Months!

Is our baby really 1.5 years old? Time has gone by way too fast! She is still so full of energy and never stops going! She keeps us very busy :) She says a lot of one syllable words and tries to say some bigger words...banana and cheerios are funny ones! She is becoming very independent and gets a mean temper when she doesn't get her way! She can also be really sweet too and likes to snuggle and read books and gives out sweet hugs and kisses.

18 Month Stats:
Weight 23lbs. (25%)
Height 33 in. (90%)

Eating lunch at her big girl table!

Big step this week...we said goodbye to paci! She woke up Monday morning and we cut the end off of a paci (I hid the rest) and I told her it was "all gone, gone" and that she was a big girl now. She said "all gone" and kept trying to put it in her mouth. So far we have been successful and she has slept through the night without it. Bedtime has been a little harder but she is getting there!
(Not so happy at first!)

Proud to be a Big Girl!

Trying really hard to fit it in her mouth!

Bye, Bye paci!
