Catching Up!

I have been slacking at updating our blog! We have been busy the last couple of months with moving into our new house and getting settled in. And then my computer broke and was at Best Buy for 2 weeks getting fixed....So, since we have been trapped inside all day, I decided to try to post all of our latest updates. There are a few :)

Snow Days!

We have had lots of snow lately! The second time it snowed, we let Ellie go out and play for a little bit, but she refused to wear gloves so she had to come in quickly. Last week we never ventured out since Ellie was sick most of the time. We spent a lot of time snuggling on the couch and watching t.v. And today it snowed 22 inches! We haven't been brave enough to venture out yet! I am sooo ready for some warmer weather!

Berta's Birthday!

My parents brought Berta up to see our new house on her Birthday. She turned 93 this year and is still doing great! Ellie had lots of fun helping her blow out the candles. I am so thankful for the time Ellie can spend with her Great-Grandmother!

Ellie got some dot markers for her Birthday and she loves them! The other day she was painting quietly and I looked over and she had painted her face! I thought she looked like a cat! Silly girl :)

Christmas!

We had a good Christmas! We did the usual and went to Russellville for a few days and then came back to Rogers on Christmas morning. It is nice that we can divide the time with both sides of our family. Ellie got a Barbie beetle car and she is having lots of fun riding it in our new back yard!

Our New House!

We moved into our new house on Dec. 20th! We are loving it so much, and it was worth the wait to decide to build. We were so ready to finally get settled in after living in a rental house for almost 1 year and having most of our stuff in storage. I have been having lots of fun getting the new house all fixed up :)

And these were our only Christmas decorations this year at the rental house :( Ellie's pink tree and the countdown to Christmas board. This year we will go all out on decor!

Santa and Build a Bear!

On Ellie's Birthday, we met Nana at the Promenade to see Santa and then went to Build a Bear! Ellie was not a fan of Santa again this year but she was ok as long as Nana would sit with her. Santa tried to sneak up behind her so that we could get one pic, but she wasn't buying it :) She chose a reindeer to build and loved her first time at BAB! Definitely a good Birthday!
