Snow Bunny!

It snowed so much here on Friday, and we have been stuck inside for most of the weekend! Here is Ellie enjoying her first time to play outside in the snow. Good thing Papa got her a snow suit!!

So...where have we been?

Well, we have been very busy lately and have had quite a few changes going on in our lives. We moved back home and are renting a house until we sell our home in NC, Carter started his new job, I started working again part-time and Ellie started going to school part-time! We are so happy to be back in the swing of things again! Ellie is adjusting really well to her new school, and we are so glad for that. I will try to be better about blogging now that we are settled in :)

Walking!

Ellie started taking some real steps on the 26th and on Jan. 3rd, she decided she wanted to walk all by herself. She went from the coffee table to her toy box, and Papa was the only one that witnessed it! Over the last few days, she has gotten so confident and is doing really great! We are so proud of our little walker!

Santa was not a hit at all with Ellie this year, but we had to get some pictures anyway! Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

1 Year Stats!

We took Ellie for her 12 month well visit on Monday at our new clinic. She did great and checked out just right! She is starting to eat better and will hopefully gain some weight soon:)

Weight: 19.5 lbs (25%)
Height: 30.75 in. (75%)

Long and Lean!

1 Year Old!

Ellie turned 1 on December 7th, and we had a fun little Birthday party for her on the 5th. She had a great time seeing everyone, opening presents, and eating a cupcake for the first time!

Some things she's doing at 12 Months:

-says Mama, Yum, Gone-Gone, No-No, Wow, Dog (may have said Dada a few times :)
-can stand on her own but hasn't taken a real step yet
-has 10 teeth and working on #11 (these last ones have been pretty mean to her)
-loves music and dancing
-likes to try to sing along with songs
-plays hide and seek
-knows how to rock her babies and give them lovin (we prompt her to do this by singing "Rock-a-Bye Baby")
-is so attached to her bunny blankie and paci (there is no way she will go to sleep without both)
-would prefer to eat crackers, cheese, fruit and chips but we and trying to get her to eat more meat and veggies
-trying to get her to like whole milk but she is still taking her bottles....we plan on weaning these over the next couple of weeks
-she never stops moving EVER and is so busy all the time!!!

We love you sweet baby girl and are having the best time watching you grow up!
