Florida 2012!

We had a great trip to the beach! It was Mayes' first time to fly, play in the sand and swim! He did pretty good traveling (there was one flight that was really rough), but other than that they were great!  Ellie was so much fun this year and loved every minute of it!  I always look forward to this trip all year long and it always goes by way too fast! Can't wait to go back next year :)

First time in the sand! He loved playing in it at first and then did a face plant and was not happy after that. He only made it to the beach a couple of times...it wasn't very easy with him crawling around and putting everything in his mouth!

Easter 2012!

We had a really great Easter this year! Re and Papa came for the weekend, and we went to our neighborhood egg hunt on Saturday and then to church and lunch at Fred's on Sunday.

So when we were on our way to lunch, I asked Ellie what she had learned in Children's Church and she said, "the tomb was empty because Jesus is ALIVE!" I was shocked! She really was listening and got it!

The Easter Bunny may have gone a little overboard ;)

It was a little rainy and cold for the egg hunt on Saturday, but the kids didn't seem to mind!
