Ellie had a great Birthday! She started off the morning opening her gifts...she got a cardboard playhouse, puzzle and Barbie makeup case. Later that day, we met Daddy and Nana at Chuck e Cheese for some playtime (Ellie's choice :) We ordered pizza for dinner and had a Coldstone ice cream cake! The big excitement of the night was that Ellie gave up her paci. We had been talking about this for days and she was ready to give it up until the actual time came to do it. Re and Papa sent her flowers and balloons, so we used the balloons to tie the paci to and let them go in the sky. We talked about how she was sending her paci to the babies in heaven and she agreed and acted all sweet about it. And then she said, "I'm gonna hit those babies!" Oh my...she is a hoot! So we went outside and she let them go and then screamed and cried like she was totally heart broken. She got over it after a while though and got to sleep in her big girl bed for the first time. She has done so good and we are so proud of her!
Most of the make up had to be taken away because she decided to rub the couch cushions (and her face) down with pink glitter eye shadow!
