Harper has really been great with Ellie! She likes to let me know when Ellie is crying and runs in and scratches my leg. I thought she deserved some face time on the blog...

Strollin

Earlier this week the weather was nice so we went on our first stroll. I think Ellie liked it because she slept the whole time! I put her in a full fleece suit so she would be nice and warm...I think she felt a little like Ralphie in the bunny suit!

1 Month Check-up

Ellie weighed a lot more than I had expected, and she got a great report from the Doctor! Here are her stats and some pictures from tonight (notice her Barbie bandaid...she had to get a shot today, poor baby!)

Weight: 8.1 lbs (45%)
Height: 19.25 (25%) still a little short!
Head: 13.75 (50%)

Getting Bigger!

Ellie has been growing so much lately! She now fits in her swing better and will even take naps in her big girl crib. We go for her 1 month appointment tomorrow, so I will be anxious to see how much she weighs. I'm guessing 7.5 lbs?

1 Month Old!

Happy 1 Month Birthday Ellie! We love you so much, and we are so happy to have you in our lives! You are by far the best thing that has ever happened to us!

All Night!

No Ellie didn't sleep all night long (she still eats every 4 hours), but she did stay in her own bed the whole night! The Snuggle Nest has been a life saver for us. With Ellie being so small, it was really hard to leave her in a crib or cradle by herself. But with the Snuggle Nest, she could sleep in between us and we didn't have to worry about her. And now that she is a little bigger it can go in her crib and we can feel good about her being safe and secure. Also, she now fits in her Snug-n-Tug blanket and it definitely does the trick! Thanks to Amber for sending it to us!
